ACT Community Sport Facilities Program (CSFP) is designed to provide financial assistance to not-for-profit sport, recreation and community organisations to contribute to the development of fit for purpose, sustainable and accessible places and spaces for sport and active recreation with up to $1M in funding.
It's well documented that sport and recreation are vital for both individual mental health and the health of the broader community through group participation and individual health pursuits. The purpose of this funding is to help unlock the potential of the ACT's rising sports stars by providing state of the art facilities as well as ensuring inclusivity for all sports participants with improved changing room facilities.
This includes enhancement of ACT Public School facilities that improve access and use by community sport and recreation organisations; and upgrades to existing facilities that enhance the participation experience and the opportunities for social connection in the community sport setting.
